So this morning we decided to walk the strip some more but that wasnt much fun because it was sooooo hot!
It's almost like we went on a round-the-world-trip: Venice, Rome, Paris, New York... all in one place. And soooo subtle and authentic!!
I mean, really.... Venice??
And here I am, totally fascinated by the originality...
We had lunch at Caesar's Palace (I had a Caesar's Salad, haha)
We had trouble seeing our food because it was sooo dark in the part of Rome where we sat... maybe that is why they make such huuuge portions so you know where to put your fork in - these were lunch.sized salads, not the regular size!!
During our meal we were totally entertained by some Gargoyle-thingie coming out of the ancient italian fountain in the middle of the shopping mall at Caesar's Forum, that told some weird story and then blasted fire into the fake blue sky. Again, sooo subtle and authentic. And classy. :-)
Then we went over to New York and shopped souvenirs at the New York New York Hotel and Casino.
It felt like a flashback to March for me...lol
We also tried our luck again at the slot machines and Julia actually won 6.50 USD!! Whoohoo!! (Don't ask how much we fed that thing before...)
I was totally disappointed that there were no buckets of quarters. Totally ruined the experience for me... that's the only reason why I didn't win my 1,000,000. I wasn't in the mood anymore.
Although we were sooooo tired from all the walking we did, we still went out to dinner at Planet Hollywood and then saw a show there at the Saxe Theater. We saw "Vegas! the show" and it was really cool! Glitter, naked girls, gay guys - Vegas, Baby!
Was für eine Glitterwelt! Super-Bilder,wir sind wie immer ganz beeindruckt, Sonja will sofort auch dahin!
ReplyDeleteGruß an euch beiden
