Day Ten

Again, written by Julia because Bean is trying to pack our stuff. What can I say - our luggage is no longer light and the suitcases are no longer empty.

So we left Dallas early in the morning and our GPS showed us that:

1185 kilometers to go - what a hell of a drive! Dallas said goodbye to us with rain.
We drove outside Dallas and stopped for a little breakfast at IHOP (btw please take notice that we are wearing matching Superhero shirts!)

The drive through Texas was pretty much that:

Our GPS let us drive from Texas to Oklahoma, then to Texas again and then to New Mexico.
Oklahoma:

So we said again "Hello Texas".

Me trying to clean the windows - lasted like 5 minutes

When we finally got to New Mexico the landscape changed pretty quick. It looked very beautiful.

The radioreception was kind of tricky there so we tried to listen to Bean`s ipod over the carradio but it played only the Cher songs!
The evening sky over New Mexico - nice. After endless hours we arrived in Albquerque.

Our hotel is okay for just 30 Dollars a night. Bean had to kill a spider and I am very proud of her.

  3. International House of Pancakes. You read their menu and you don't wonder why obesity is a problem here...

  4. Aww... if you were in OKC you were only a bit over an hour from me!! Also - wish you could have stayed a day there... they have a Cowboy Museum in OKC :D Never actually been myself as I have no interest in cowboys since I grew up here. :D
Oh... there is a reason most of us don't visit IHOP too often.

  5. Gina, we didn't know we would be going through Oklahoma City... I thought we would drive diagonally, but the GPS had a mind of its own.;-)
